Remix competitions are more popular than ever. They’re a great way for artists to get recognized, labels to find new talent, and for established producers to build their reputation as a credible figure.

The problem that comes along with this is that there are many low quality remix competitions. Competitions formed by artists who aren’t quite there yet, or indie labels that don’t know what they’re doing. To be brutally honest – some remix competitions are not worth looking at.
