After the huge success of Dave Parkinson House Essentials Volume 1, we are proud to present volume 2 of this popular sample pack series.

Over the years production heavyweight Dave Parkinson has collaborated with the likes of Mark Knight, Simon Patterson, Eddie Bitar, D.Ramirez, Paul Thomas, Felix Da Housecat, and many other talented producers, so it made sense for him to bring his signature, innovative house-oriented sound to the masses. This sample pack covers a wide range of house sub genres and related styles, including tech, progressive, funk, disco, and even techno. The full package weighs in at over 9GB (uncompressed) and is literally overflowing with creative inspiration from one of the most established and sought-after producers in the scene today.

Sample Pack Content

First off we have a complete and comprehensive sample pack containing 1200+ drum one shots (kicks, open hats, closed hats, snares, cymbals, percussion, etc.), 600+ drum fills, drum loops, percussion loops, and top loops, a highly comprehensive FX section of 300+ samples (all neatly categorised, named and labelled), 200 usable melodic synth and bass line loops (each provided with associated MIDI files and in most cases presets), just under 400 synth stabs and bass shots, as well as 200+ versatile vocal loops and hits.

Every sample is clearly named and numbered with appropriate BPM and key labelling information appended to each filename. Along with this, all files are carefully categorised into a well thought out folder structure in classic Freshly Squeezed Samples style, so it’s both quick and easy to find the sound you are looking for during those late night studio sessions.

Each folder contains completely unique loops for that specific BPM. All loops are available in full, stripped, and percussion-only variants for easy mixing and matching in your productions.

Construction Kits

Dave has included 4 complete, truly usable construction kits each containing the individual stems and associated MIDI files for each melodic element. Each construction kit has its own distinct mood, but thanks to the intuitive file naming, you can quickly and easily swap out loops, samples and MIDIs and try out thousands of potential combinations.

Each construction kit is key and BPM labelled for ease of use.

Logic Pro X Project Files (Templates)

As a special bonus, we have also included all the Logic project files used to make the construction kits (as heard in demos), including all synthesizer presets, samples, and all the mixing and mastering in place for you to study and utilize as the ultimate educational tool.

Each template includes the full arrangement with all MIDI data, synthesizer presets, mixing/levelling, FX chains, and automation in place. All mixing is performed natively using only internal Logic Pro X FX chains. Every channel is named, coloured-coded, grouped, and easily identifiable in the arrangement view.
